Victor’s Story

Hi, I’m Victor - I’m a lawyer by training and was the CEO of the law firm Bond Pearce and one of the architects of the merger with Bond Dickinson. I’ve been working in Temple Quay for 20 years I’ve known God since the very start of my career and came to realise that He was interested in what we do at work just as much as what we do with the rest of our lives. Over the years that’s transformed my thinking – God’s at work when I arrive, is interested in what I do and wants me, work colleagues and businesses to flourish.

I’ve dreamed of a space dedicated to God in the Heart of Temple Quay for as long as I’ve worked here and so when Colette Bewley approached me with a similar dream I got involved in the Charity Upper Reaches and the commissioning of the Prayer Barge and now work on the Prayer Barge alongside other roles in the faith and legal sectors It’s such a special place to take time out of a busy working day and for many is a place to encounter God.

My heart for seeing God at work

My heart is for praying for those working in Temple Quay and for seeing more of God at work in both senses of that phrase.
